I was introduced to Amazing Grace Ministries by a church member. My husband and I had both lost our jobs and it was a very difficult time. I attended the church fasting prayer evening and could sense the strong presence of the Lord among the people. They prayed for my need and I received a job offer within a week. This is a mighty miracle after a wait of over 9 months with no income.
I am blessed meeting people of faith who are totally committed to God, and through their lives strengthen the faith of those in need.

In April 2017, we had an accident while i was 5 months pregnant and I miscarried and lost a male child. On April 2nd, 2018, we came full circle, we saw God's power of restoration in action. We were blessed with a son, Ethan Karanja during the same month a year later.
Ethan means strong and optimistic, solid and enduring; permanent. We chose the name Ethan as the devil had tried to attack baby Ethan three times but due to prayers he endured all the challenges while still in the womb.
After four months of conception I started having complications and the doctor found out that my cervix was opening up, I went to theatre and had a cervical stitch placed, after that I was closely monitored and had weekly injections as my pregnancy was named as a high risk pregnancy, at 29 weeks of gestation I had a clot and after visiting the hospital the doctor said I would deliver and my husband was made to sign documents for the baby's incubation which the insurance would not cater and the cost was 5000aed per day, through AGC prayers and especially the Qusais Life group I never contracted as per doctor's report, I was discharged and put on complete bed rest for 45 days with weekly review.
Doctors reports all along were soo negative but through the grace of God and prayers from AGC I made it full term whereas the doctor was just wishing for 34 weeks. On the 1st of April 2018 I was admitted for the stitch removal and later be induced but upon reporting through the process of admission we learnt that the Insurance couldn't cater for my bill as it claimed that I had consumed my package the two times I had previously been admitted,by faith I got admitted and God performed a miracle after our life group leader Bro.chandu talked to his friend who talked to the CEO of the hospital and we got a discount of 63%.

Our first born baby girl Azriel's name actually means ‘God Helps’ and her middle name 'Nes' means ‘Miracle,’ because that's exactly what she is, a Miracle.
I declare that God is my healer and I stand to testify of His favor and healing over my life. I have been married for over 6 years but longed for a child. My Lord Jesus healed me from Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS). It is a condition that affects a woman's hormone levels. Doctors told me conception would be nearly impossible for me unless I get treated for the condition. I struggled with this problem from the age of 19. I visited many doctors in India and in Dubai, undertook many treatments but nothing seemed to work. Every month was the same story, disappointment.
In frustration, I finally decided to give up all my medicines and trust God completely for my healing. I started operating in faith and believed that God didn't create me with any sickness or infirmity. I started praying and fasting and confessing my healing daily. My church Life Group, the whole Amazing Grace Church and Pastor Samuel and Pastor Arlene stood with us in prayer and continually encouraged us that that God would surely come through for us. Just by standing on the Word, speaking in faith and believing the promises of God, I received my healing in a short span of time.

I am a Flight Attendant with Emirates Airlines. I remember walking into Amazing Grace Ministries for the first time in excruciating pain on 27th February 2012.
The agony in my neck and left arm along with stiffness and reduced mobility on the left side of neck and arm meant I could not function normally. I had to undergo a disc replacement surgery in my neck (2 discs removed & replaced), after 5 years of severe pain on 4th Sept 2011. Pain on the left side stopped but I had no strength to even move my arms above my waist level. I was on medical leave from work for 10 months and was given an ultimatum to join back by 21 April 2012 or I would be terminated on medical grounds.
To add to my misery, on 2 Jan 2012, the same severe symptoms and pain started on the right side of my neck. Got an MRI done which showed the 2 discs above the operated disc were moving to the right. I was completely disheartened after receiving my MRI reports, I cried to God in the quiet of my room to either align my discs or I would end my life.
The Miracle Monday service in Amazing Grace Ministries that evening changed everything for me. Pastor Samuel competed a powerful preaching on healing from the Bible. I still remember the message so vividly, ‘the healing of 10 lepers’. I knew there and then that God was talking to me. I was that leper. God wanted to touch and heal me. While Pastor was praying over me, I felt warmth in the right side of my neck and Pastor, who was clueless about my medical condition, said “The Lord is touching and aligning your discs”. I knew immediately that I was healed for life and made whole.
After 6 months of not being able to move my hands, that night for the first time, I lifted my hands above my head and moved them all around. I knew that the Lord had restored back, not just my health, but also my life and finances. He brought me to the knowledge of who He really is. All praise to Jesus, the One & Only True God.
Cancer Cured
1. One of our church member’s brother in-law was diagnosed with cancer beginning of 2014. We prayed diligently for him within one of our life groups. Doctors told him that he is in the final stage of cancer. Knowing that our times are in the hands of the Lord, we continued to pray. The Bible says "The things which are impossible with men are possible with God." Praise be to Jesus. Today he is healed and certified by the doctor as ‘Free from cancer’.
2. One of our relatives back home was diagnosed with lung cancer. Since the cancer was diagnosed very late it had spread to the breast as well. She was suffering and being a Hindu believer, she had never heard about the name of Jesus.
However, my sister in-law is a firm believer of Jesus. She aqnd her Life Group members prayed for her and urged her to believe in the healing power of Jesus. I also agreed with them in prayer looking for a miracle.
Recently she was admitted to the hospital for surgery. Our God is a miracle working God! Doctors opened her body but could not find the tumor neither in her lungs nor in her breast. They stitched her skin up and declared that this is truly a miracle. This is the Lord's doing and it is marvelous in our eyes. Now this sister and her husband are following Jesus whole heartedly.
All things are possible with Jesus.

Learning about water and Spirit baptism in my Life and Youth Group meetings got me determined to get baptized. During one youth meeting, Uncle Chandu’s words enforced my determination to get water baptized the very same day along with my best friend Anthea and her family. I wanted my parents to witness this occasion but only Dad was with me. Mom was home with high fever. When I called and told her my decision, she was very happy but began crying as she was going to miss it, and though I felt bad, I couldn’t wait, and I knew she understood.
The freezing pool water didn’t deter me as one by one we all received Jesus in our hearts forever. As I lay for split seconds immersed in the pool I felt Jesus lift me up and I felt so much peace. I knew in my heart I had received the Holy Spirit and I would not be the same again. Soon after that the enemy who was not happy with my baptism started his attack.
A few days later around 6pm when my parents returned from work, I went for a shower. As I started bathing a voice in my head whispered that something was wrong and prompted me to get out of the tub immediately. I was confused but heeded the warning of this still persistent voice and as I yelled out to Mom and got out of the tub the overhead geyser burst and boiling water started gushing out.
Praise God for HIS protection over my life.
I am thankful to Jesus for leading us to Amazing Grace Church where the Pastors and Elders train us, equip us and don’t hesitate to correct us when we are wrong. I pray our members grow in numbers and more people will be saved and come to experience Jesus in this Church.

My Upward Spiral
After hopping several Churches, I finally found the right one. Amazing Grace Church. My life had been a complete mess before I joined this family. I was a total wreck.
Stubborn to the core I had never heeded my husband's advice on how to manage my finances. Immediately after my Father passed away I took the onus of taking care of my family members. With no one to depend on, I forged into taking credit cards and loans to furnish their every need. And in doing so I went overboard, till such time I lost my job during the recession. The noose of bankers kept tightening around my neck. Beg, borrow, unable to pay back friends, losing them in the bargain, fights at home, venting out frustrations on my husband and daughter further added to the misery. Health deteriorated, high blood pressure, sugar, daily migraines to name just a few. My husband too suffered with high BP. I blamed it all on the Lord. How could He put me in this mess?
I was just taking care of my family I would argue with myself. Then came this day when I couldn’t take it anymore. My Jesus was nowhere in sight, I decided to worship the devil…..at least he would get me out of this mess, even if it were temporary. That day I fell on my knees and asked Jesus one more time “Show me you are real or you’ll lose me forever” was my earnest prayer. A bright light lit up the room and I saw this beautiful shiny figure sitting on the center table and I heard this soft gentle voice say “I will never leave you nor forsake you”, and the apparition disappeared. You should have seen me cry on bended knees as peace filled my heart. Its then I realized I needed a good Church as I couldn’t do anything in my own strength.
I searched the net to find one and Amazing Grace Church popped up. I called the number on the screen. It was Pastor Samuel Tressler. His voice was gentle, he invited me to the Church the following Friday but as the enemy would have it, I didn’t go. Surprisingly Pastor Sam didn’t give up on me. Due to his persistent calls I relented and one Friday attended the service with my daughter. That was it. There was something different about this Church. My journey with my Lord began in earnest. Miracles after miracles started in my life in AGM as I firmly got grounded in the Lord.
First I changed my attitude toward my husband. I understood from Scriptures taught here that the man is the head of the house. I asked his forgiveness and started respecting him and his decisions. I learnt to control my anger. In a span of 1 year, some of my debts were written off and some cleared. Then I joined Life Group and under the able guidance of Sis. Indira my character sharpened further. In April 2014 after one night vigil, I drove the enemy from my body and claimed complete healing which is my birthright and that same week my sugar and BP got normal, even my doctor was surprised.
Then Life Christian University happened. Every Friday Bro. Chandu would ask me to join LCU. It took me some time, but his persistence won and I joined. This was the icing on the cake. Here I started learning everything one needs to know on Christian Character, Biblical Finances, Authority of the Believer, Christ’s Teachings and so much more. Here I learnt to submit to authority not just of my husband, my Pastors and Elders but my Boss too. Till then I was always cursing my boss and my job but LCU taught me otherwise. I am being trained to be a soldier in the Lord’s army. I am not shy or ashamed to speak about my Jesus to anyone I come across. My mission is to save souls and I will not back off. I end now from where I began this testimony. Because of the onus of taking care of my family, I had to give up graduation. Something I always regretted. I’d dream many times of owning a degree. And Jesus made my dream come true in His own time. In Sept 2014 I became an LCU graduate. Isn’t Jesus amazing? All this could never have happened, had I not joined Amazing Grace Church.
Colossians 1:23 if you continue in your faith, established and firm, and do not move from the hope held out in the gospel. This is the gospel that you heard and that has been proclaimed to every creature under heaven.

Million Dollar Miracle
Malachi 3:10-11
"Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, so that there may be food in My house, and test Me now in this," says the LORD of hosts, "if I will not open for you the windows of heaven and pour out for you a blessing until it overflows. "Then I will rebuke the devourer for you, so that it will not destroy the fruits of the ground; nor will your vine in the field cast its grapes," says the LORD of hosts".
From 2012, I was laden with debts and had no idea how I could get out of it. Each time I decided to pay off a loan, some new expense would crop up. But despite all the liabilities I was always faithful to offer tithes to my Lord. As a family, my wife, daughter and I would cry out to Jesus to have mercy on us and give us just enough to pay the debts, nothing more, nothing less. Our Lord had been faithful; He provided us all our basic necessities and never put us to shame.
While travelling to India on 6th June 2014, I purchased a duty free millennium millionaire ticket, praying hard to God to shower His mercies on me and my family. Upon returning back on 24th June, I got a call from the Duty Free office saying I had won a million dollars. At first I thought it was a prank call and disconnected. The caller called again in 5 minutes and assured me it was not a prank call. I had really won a million dollars. I nearly fell of my chair. I was speechless and burst out in a cold sweat. I was asked to visit their office. My wife and daughter accompanied me. Our joy knew no bounds. There was a photo session and a small interview which was broadcasted on the website and published in a Dubai magazine a few days later.
God had showered His choicest blessings on us. He heard our cry. Not only did he give us money to pay off our debts, he showered us with much more than we asked for. We cannot thank Him enough. He is our Jehovah Jireh. Today we are debt free and can breathe freely. It is my endeavor now, to utilize the money not just to build my own business but to sow abundantly in His kingdom.

Coming from a traditional Catholic background means it took me and my wife a long time to obey the Bible over our traditions and accept Jesus as our personal Savior and be baptized in the Holy Spirit.
Our lives continued, sinful and seamless - taking life easy and God for granted. But things began moving once, when as a family, we joined Amazing Grace Church. Miracles after miracles have continued to happen in my life ever since I surrendered my life to Jesus. The level of my faith has increased considerably.
For years I had struggled to give up smoking since I was trying to do it in my own strength. But hearing the word of God again and again in every Friday service, one day with the gentle cajoling of the Holy Spirit I put an end to this vice and I got free from this addiction. Due to stress my blood pressure that never came down from 180/140 dropped down to 120/80. Doctors had prescribed Concor lifelong for me but since I claimed my healing by the stripes of Jesus it’s over two years now I have not taken any medicine.
It was indeed a miracle. For a long time I had desired to be my own boss and with prayers and guidance from our Pastors I was able to fulfill my dreams. And my testimonies don’t stop here. In July 2014 we were on vacation in Goa. We went with the main motive of evangelizing to our family members as they are all Catholics. We prayed much and the Lord opened their eyes. They were willing to listen which in itself was a miracle. But the devil was not too pleased. Aug 2014 I returned from vacation with a herniated disc. Doctors suggested immediate surgery. But here I am without going under the knife, enjoying the healing power of my Lord. A miracle is in the making, the enemy defeated. SHALOM I am blessed with and SHALOM it will be.

Fired … but not Ablaze
24th October 2013 seemed like any ordinary day when I woke up. I went straight to the kitchen to make some breakfast for myself which was so not normal for me. No sooner did I light the stove when a huge fire broke out from the burner. Knowing that the fire would just set me ablaze, I quickly ran out into the living room and was on my knees right next to the TV.
Although the fire followed me right from the kitchen, it did not harm me. I believe that the mighty God of Israel split the fire in two directions, to the right and to the left. With a huge ear deafening explosion the large glass window on my right shattered into pieces falling toward the outside below. Fortunately no one was present below at the time. At the same time our floor length curtain was completely burnt and shrunk to the size of a handkerchief. Not just this, but our main door on my left also flew out from its hinges along with 6 of our neighbor's doors that broke open.
Once again no one was present in the corridors, which in itself was a miracle. The ceiling in the kitchen, as well as that of the rest room which my dad was using fell to the floor. It was only the Lord who made my dad get out of the washroom just before it could fall apart. The bedroom door was closed which kept my mum safe too. The Lord protected every member of my family. The police, civil defense team and all the neighbors who ran to our apartment were just amazed and could not believe that despite the huge impact the explosion had, all of us were untouched and unharmed.
All of them who were heathens testified with their own mouths saying 'your God protected you'. Praise be to Jesus who watches over his children and does not take his eyes off from us, no not even for less than a fraction of a second. Rest assured that the God of Israel, our Yahweh, neither slumbers noe sleeps. nor slumbers.
"When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze."
This scripture came alive in my life.
